Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Starter template — review before launch. This is a sensible first draft tailored to what the site does, not legal advice. Have it reviewed against GDPR / Swedish requirements (and Google's OAuth policy) before you publish.

Swarmfall ("we", "us") is an indie game project operated by TcaseTech. This policy explains what we collect when you use swarmfall.tcasetech.com and the playtest, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Who is responsible

The data controller is TcaseTech, based in Sweden. For any privacy question or request, contact swarmfall@tcasetech.com.

What we collect

Why we use it

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies — mainly to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we don't sell your data.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your data. We use a few trusted service providers purely to run the service: Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage, security), Google (sign-in, and the mailbox we use for swarmfall@tcasetech.com), and an email-delivery provider for transactional emails. They process data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account exists. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data, including your playtest status and feedback association, except anything we must retain briefly for security or legal reasons.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, a copy of it, or object to certain processing. You can delete your account from your profile, or email us. You also have the right to complain to the Swedish data protection authority (IMY).

Children

Swarmfall isn't directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
