Terms of Service
Starter template — review before launch. A reasonable first draft for a free indie playtest, not legal advice. Have it reviewed for your jurisdiction before you publish.
These terms cover your use of swarmfall.tcasetech.com and the Swarmfall playtest, operated by TcaseTech ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the playtest, you agree to them.
The playtest is pre-release
Swarmfall is in active development. Builds are unfinished and provided "as is" — expect bugs, crashes, wipes of progress, and features that change or disappear. Access is offered at our discretion and may change or end at any time.
Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
- You're responsible for activity under your account.
- One person per account; don't impersonate others.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Share, re-upload, or distribute the build or your download link — access is personal to you.
- Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract source or assets, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Abuse, attack, or disrupt the service or other testers.
- Submit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content in feedback.
Keeping it under wraps
The playtest may include unannounced features. We ask that you be thoughtful about sharing screenshots or details publicly while the build is private. If we mark something as confidential, please keep it so.
Your feedback
When you send feedback, ideas, or bug reports, you grant us permission to use them to improve Swarmfall without obligation or compensation. You won't owe us anything for it, and we won't owe you — but we will be grateful.
Our content
Swarmfall, its name, art, the Wraithwood, and all game content are owned by TcaseTech. The playtest gives you a limited, personal, revocable licence to play the build — nothing more is transferred.
No warranty
The service and builds are provided without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise the playtest will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that progress will be preserved.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, TcaseTech isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the playtest. Nothing here limits rights that can't be limited under applicable law.
Ending access
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or the playtest closes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you have where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll revise the date above and, for material changes, let you know.
